What TikTok LIVE announced at the Global Summit 2026
The TikTok LIVE Creator Networks Global Summit 2026 opened in Bangkok on 15 September 2026 and closed the following day. TikTok brought together more than 1,000 partners, agency leaders and industry guests under the theme "The Professionalization of LIVE".
The first announcement was a white paper on agencies, which TikTok calls "Creator Networks". It counts more than 21,000 Creator Networks worldwide in 2025, almost three times as many as a year earlier. Over the same period, the number of creators working with an agency nearly doubled (white paper announcement).
Then, on 24 September 2026, TikTok published the summit's six highlights (official summary). They're aimed primarily at agencies, but several have a direct bearing on how you're supported as a creator.
The summit's six highlights, in plain English
Here's what TikTok's summary says, theme by theme:
- Solo LIVE: depth over volume. Lasting growth is said to come from a complete creator journey: targeted scouting, a steady back-and-forth between short videos and LIVE, campaigns with a clear goal, and ultimately a creator identity that endures.
- Diversified LIVE: new genres. Opening up a new type of content means lining up the creator's strengths, their community's interest, the agency's resources and the platform's support. TikTok sums it up as a three-step method: build, validate, then scale.
- Creator growth: development first. TikTok talks about a "Creator Network 2.0" model that favours targeted scouting, growth paths tailored to each creator and real work on content, rather than recruitment alone.
- How agencies operate. Four capabilities are highlighted: a tiered structure for managers, aligned campaigns, retention through niche communities and data-driven motivation.
- An AI tool: LIVE Bax. It's an assistant built into LIVE Backstage, the workspace reserved for agencies, which turns their data into actionable insights to help their managers make decisions.
- Trust. TikTok points to its LIVE Monetization Guidelines and to integrity standards for agencies; more on that below.
These points describe a direction rather than rules: the summary gives neither a timeline nor practical details, and you can't yet check them against your own agency.
Agency integrity standards: what we know and what we don't
The sixth highlight is the one that concerns you most. TikTok LIVE presents safety, content quality and compliance as the foundations of the business, there to protect creators. It ties them to its LIVE Monetization Guidelines and to integrity standards for agencies, covering four areas: content, finance, recruitment and operations.
What we don't know is what these standards actually say. The pages TikTok has published about the summit list the categories, not the rules, nor how they'll be enforced or what happens to an agency that breaks them. If someone "explains" them to you in detail, ask for their official source.
What we do know is that recruitment and finance are among the areas covered. Those are precisely the two moments when a creator can get caught out: when joining, and when money comes into it.
TikTok also points out that Creator Networks are independent third-party businesses which it does not endorse or sponsor.
So an agency can't present these standards as a badge of approval: they set requirements, they don't hand out certificates.
What it changes for you as a creator
No new steps have been announced: you still give your invitation code to the agency, which uses it to invite you, and you read and accept the invitation in the Agency Center (TikTok's official page). The full step-by-step process is in our guide on how to join a TikTok LIVE agency. What has changed is the context: with more than 21,000 agencies worldwide, there's more choice, and more need to be selective.
Three habits these announcements reinforce:
- Check how you're recruited. An official invitation is sent from LIVE Backstage and lands in your Agency Center. A request for your password, a payment or an external link is not part of that process.
- Check the money. The agency is paid by TikTok, through its incentive programmes. An agency that charges you to join or takes a cut of your diamonds isn't following the model TikTok describes: it's all explained in our guide to TikTok LIVE agency commission.
- Ask how it will help you grow. TikTok is pushing agencies to develop their creators rather than collect them. Ask yours who your manager is, how often they'll check in with you and what they can offer for your content.

At the same summit, Streamline received TikTok LIVE's "Outstanding Gaming LIVE Creator Network Award"; the official proof is on our Awards page. Streamline works with creators based in the FR+ zone, Germany and Switzerland.
