How to join a TikTok LIVE agency (step by step)

  • 10 min read
  • 7 official sources

In short

To join a TikTok LIVE agency, you accept its invitation in the TikTok app. You give the agency your invitation code, a six-character code generated by TikTok, and an agency approved by TikTok LIVE uses it to invite you from LIVE Backstage, a tool reserved for approved agencies. You then read and accept the invitation, usually under Settings and privacy > Creator tools > LIVE Center > Agency Center. Before accepting, check that the agency recruits in your country, what it takes from your earnings and how you can leave. A request for your password, a payment or an external link is not part of this process.

Key takeaways

  • You give the agency your invitation code; it uses it to invite you from LIVE Backstage, the tool for agencies approved by TikTok LIVE, and you accept in your Agency Center.
  • Password, payment, external link: if you're asked for any of the three to join an agency, stop right there.
  • In the model TikTok describes, the agency is paid by TikTok: always ask what it takes from your earnings.
  • TikTok and the agency check your eligibility, including your age: always join an agency with your own account.
  • Streamline recruits creators from the FR+ zone, Germany and Switzerland: free membership, no commitment, 0% commission.

Requirements for joining a TikTok LIVE agency

Joining a TikTok LIVE agency means linking your account to a Creator Network, the name TikTok gives to LIVE agencies. According to TikTok, these agencies connect creators with advanced tools, exclusive programmes and growth opportunities. If you're still on the fence, start with what a TikTok LIVE agency is and what it does for creators.

Before any invitation arrives, four things matter.

  • An account of your own. In the EEA, Switzerland and the UK, TikTok pays LIVE rewards (the earnings from gifts) into an account in the creator's legal name, and they can't be transferred to anyone else (TikTok's Rewards Policy). So join an agency with your own account, never with a friend's or a relative's.
  • Your eligibility, age included. TikTok and the agency check your eligibility, including your age. Go by the conditions shown in the app and what the agency confirms to you, not by a figure you've read somewhere else.
  • Your region. An agency doesn't necessarily recruit in your country. Streamline, for example, works with creators from the FR+ zone, Germany and Switzerland.
  • Where you stand today. If you're already with an agency, tell us when you apply: we'll explain what to do to join us. TikTok publishes no official procedure and no timelines, so check in your Agency Center what applies to your account.

How a TikTok LIVE agency invitation works, step by step

The process TikTok describes is built around an invitation: an agency approved by TikTok LIVE uses your invitation code to invite you from LIVE Backstage, its restricted workspace, and you read and accept the invitation in your app. In practice:

  1. First contact. You talk to the agency (website, Discord, direct message) and ask your questions before committing to anything.
  2. You find your invitation code. It's a six-character code generated by TikTok. You'll usually find it in the app under Creator tools > LIVE Center > Join an agency > How to take part? (the path can vary depending on your version of the app), and you pass it on to the agency you've chosen. The full walkthrough is in our guide to the TikTok agency invitation code.
  3. The invitation is sent. The agency invites you from LIVE Backstage using your invitation code. Backstage is reserved for agencies approved by TikTok LIVE.
  4. You open it in the app. You'll find the invitation in TikTok, usually under Settings and privacy > Creator tools > LIVE Center > Agency Center. The exact path can vary depending on your version of the app.
  5. You read it. Check that the invitation really comes from the agency you've been talking to. If you don't recognise it, don't accept it.
  6. You accept. Once you accept, your account is linked to the agency, which then tracks your diamonds and LIVE hours in Backstage.

Sharing your invitation code with the agency is part of the process, and the invitation is accepted inside the TikTok app. No step asks for your password, a payment or a click on an external link.

TikTok sets out this process on its page about agency invitations and explains the role of LIVE Backstage for agencies.

Red flags to watch for when joining a TikTok LIVE agency

The simplest rule of thumb: any request that falls outside the process TikTok describes should set alarm bells ringing. The table below separates the normal from the suspicious.

You're asked to…What to make of it
Share your invitation code, then accept an invitation in your Agency CenterThat's the normal process
Give your password, or a verification code sent by text or emailSay no: it's not part of the process
Pay a sign-up fee or a subscriptionThat's not the model TikTok describes, where the agency is paid by TikTok
Hand over a share of your diamondsThat's not the model TikTok describes either: ask what justifies it
Click an external link to “confirm” your membershipSay no: the invitation is accepted in the app
Have your earnings paid into someone else's accountSay no: TikTok pays LIVE rewards into an account in the creator's legal name, and they can't be transferred
Buy or sell gifts or diamonds outside TikTokSay no: TikTok's rules on virtual items prohibit it

Two other warning signs should make you slow down. The first is an agency that presents itself as endorsed or sponsored by TikTok: TikTok makes clear that agencies are independent third-party businesses that it neither endorses nor sponsors. The accurate wording is “agency approved by TikTok LIVE” or “agency with access to LIVE Backstage”.

The second is a promise of a specific income figure or guaranteed growth: nobody controls what your viewers will send you. To understand who pays whom, read how much a TikTok LIVE agency takes and how it gets paid.

Questions to ask a TikTok LIVE agency before accepting its invitation

Before you accept, take the time to ask these questions, ideally in writing, and keep the answers.

  • How much do you take from my earnings? The model TikTok describes is an agency paid by TikTok through incentive programmes. If there is a commission, it should be stated clearly, before any invitation.
  • Are there any fees, now or later? Sign-up, training, tools: ask for the full list.
  • Am I tied in, and how do I leave if it doesn't work out? TikTok doesn't publish exit timelines, so ask the agency to explain its own terms.
  • Who will be my point of contact, and when can I reach them? A name, a channel, the hours they're available.
  • What will you actually bring to my LIVEs? Formats, tools, feedback: ask to see examples.
  • Who is behind the agency? An identifiable company, with a registration number you can check.
  • What are your claims based on? An agency calling itself “the best” without citing a source proves nothing. To sort fact from claim, use the verifiable criteria for choosing the best TikTok LIVE agency for you.

A serious agency answers these questions directly. Being vague about money or about leaving is an answer in itself.

Streamline Agency: eligible regions and how creators join

Streamline Agency is a TikTok LIVE gaming agency that won awards from TikTok LIVE in 2025 and in 2026. It is operated by STREAMLINE, a SARL (French limited liability company) registered with the Lyon Trade and Companies Register (RCS Lyon 937 823 300), and is led by Gabin and Etienne Colléaux.

Where Streamline recruits

Streamline recruits creators from three regions:

  • the FR+ zone: France and French-speaking countries (Belgium, French-speaking Switzerland, Luxembourg, French-speaking Canada, French-speaking Africa…);
  • Germany;
  • Switzerland.

Outside these three regions, Streamline does not recruit. Membership is free, with no commitment, and commission is 0%: creators keep 100% of their earnings. Streamline is paid by TikTok through the incentive programmes reserved for agencies (monthly bonuses, rankings and rewards linked to LIVE growth), whose payout rates are not public.

The process for creators in the eligible regions (FR+, Germany, Switzerland)

  1. Getting their invitation code. Creators retrieve the six-character code in the TikTok app, usually under Creator tools > LIVE Center > Join an agency > How to take part? (the path can vary depending on the version of the app).
  2. Sending it to Streamline's Discord bot. The bot, reachable from the Join section of Streamline's website, collects the code and completes the application. Without this code, TikTok cannot link the account to the agency.
  3. Choosing an onboarding session. It is mandatory and lasts one hour: Monday, Wednesday or Friday at 7 pm (Paris time).
  4. Waiting for the staff's review. A member of staff reviews the application and gets back to the creator. Applications are processed within 48 hours, and only approval by the staff counts.
  5. Accepting the invitation and getting started. Once approved, the creator accepts Streamline's invitation in their Agency Center, then starts with their manager on a game concept chosen from the interactive concepts designed by the agency. No password and no payment are asked for at any stage.

A creator's first weeks at Streamline

Accepting an invitation won't make a creator's LIVEs take off on its own: what changes is the support around them. At Streamline, the first weeks are spent laying those foundations.

  • A concept that carries the LIVE. Creators start on a concept developed by Streamline, where viewers act on the game in real time through gifts and chat: GTA V (Mont Chiliad, Train, La Rampe), Minecraft (TNT VS, One Bloc), Fortnite Interactif, Mario Interactif Tower or Streamline Royale.
  • A server ready to go. For Minecraft and FiveM, the agency hosts, maintains and updates the game server.
  • Tools in the creator space. Webhooks so the chat can trigger actions in the game, a library of TikTok gifts with their value, OBS overlays (win counters, leaderboards) and tracking of bonuses and goals.
  • A dedicated manager, reachable every day. Coaching and feedback on their LIVEs: the concept, the pacing, the interaction with viewers.
  • Help with the legal side. Account protection and help with declaring income.
  • A community. The agency's Discord and events between creators: a gala dinner in Paris, a cruise, a trip to Los Angeles.

Consistency counts: for mission-based LIVE rewards, TikTok counts a day as a valid LIVE day once it reaches 25 minutes of cumulative LIVE time (TikTok LIVE Rewards explained). To dig deeper into the format, read how to run an interactive gaming LIVE on TikTok.

What Streamline doesn't promise: a level of earnings or guaranteed growth. No agency can honestly promise either.

Frequently asked questions

How do I join a TikTok LIVE agency?

You give the agency your invitation code, it uses that code to invite you from LIVE Backstage, the tool for agencies approved by TikTok LIVE, and you accept the invitation in your app's Agency Center. Before you do, check where the agency recruits, what commission it takes and how you can leave.

Where do I find an agency invitation on TikTok?

Usually under Settings and privacy > Creator tools > LIVE Center > Agency Center. The exact path can vary depending on your version of the app.

What is a TikTok agency invitation code?

It's your own code: six characters generated by TikTok, usually found under Creator tools > LIVE Center > Join an agency > How to take part? (the path can vary depending on your version of the app). You give it to the agency you've chosen, which uses it to invite you from LIVE Backstage. It's neither a password nor a means of payment: if someone asks for your login details or for money, you've left the process TikTok describes.

Do I have to pay to join a TikTok LIVE agency?

That's not the model TikTok describes: agencies are paid by TikTok, through incentive programmes such as monthly bonuses. At Streamline, membership is free, with no commitment and 0% commission.

How can I tell if a TikTok LIVE agency is legit?

An agency approved by TikTok LIVE has access to LIVE Backstage, which is where it invites you from; you then accept in your Agency Center. Be wary of an agency that claims to be endorsed or sponsored by TikTok: TikTok makes clear that agencies are independent third-party businesses.

How old do you have to be to join a TikTok LIVE agency?

Age is one of the eligibility conditions, checked by TikTok and by the agency. Go by the conditions shown in the app and ask the agency before accepting its invitation.

I'm already with an agency. Can I join another one?

Start by requesting to leave from the app (LIVE Center, Agency Center or TikTok Studio, depending on your version). TikTok publishes no official timelines: check the ones that apply in your Agency Center when you make the request.

Who can join Streamline Agency?

Creators from the FR+ zone (France and French-speaking countries), Germany and Switzerland; Streamline doesn't recruit outside these regions. Membership of this TikTok LIVE gaming agency is free, with no commitment and 0% commission. Creators from those regions send their invitation code to Streamline's Discord bot, and choose a one-hour onboarding session; applications are processed within 48 hours, and only the staff's approval counts.
